Welcome to River Run Lodge

Maupin’s premier lodging venue - offering a unique combination of intimacy, amenities and exclusivity.

Your home base for adventure in Maupin!

River Run Lodge offers the charm of a bed & breakfast, the amenities of a vacation rental, and the independence of a hotel, all just a short walk from the wild & scenic Deschutes River. The Deschutes is famous for Redside Trout, Steelhead and Salmon fishing, as well as rafting & kayaking. Located in the heart of Maupin's recreation district, River Run Lodge provides easy access to the river, restaurants, and other local amenities, along with the seclusion and intimacy of a small, five-room inn. In the morning, help yourself to our complimentary Continental Breakfast. On summer evenings, enjoy our shaded courtyard overlooking the river and, if you wish, grill your own dinner on one of our barbeques.

The Lodge sleeps up to 13 adults. For large parties, reserve the entire place. The three upstairs rooms can be rented as a suite, with adjoining hallways providing common access to the Oak Springs room, its full kitchen and private deck. The Redside Room, our common area, has a full kitchen available for your use, a dining room with seating for 12, and a living room / lounge area. Our back yard includes a beautiful garden, two decks with seating for 14, a timber-framed arbor and a lush lawn.

Whether you're fishing, rafting or just relaxing, the lodge can provide the ultimate retreat after a full day on the river. Whatever your day brings, let River Run Lodge be your river view home in Maupin!

Cheers!

  • Stayed at the River Run for almost three weeks while my girlfriend worked on the solar farm 20 minutes away. The smart TVs in the rooms were very convenient to log into all our streaming services. The full kitchen downstairs was utilized to its max as we prefer to make our meals instead of eating out. Mike is extremely accommodating & very nice! If your lucky, you might even see the giant buck that roams the property (we weren’t but we heard about it). Great experience.

  • Great spot. Arrived on motorcycles . Kinda a cross between a B&B and motel. We got there, owner had placed our names on respective rooms with keys in the door. Large common room/kitchen for meals, along with gas BBQ outside. Great outside patio with table/chairs. A few feet to the water feature where deer were accessing water. Rooms simple but clean and comfortable. Never did meet the owner, but permit guest Anthony was great to talk to (he put in the water feature). Lots of provided breakfast items in fridge and breakfast area. Pub and dinner spot in walking distance.

  • Seriously, one of the best places our family has stayed in a long time! Nice, spacious room for our family of 5, with outdoor decks to grill, have a drink, or read a book. I watched deer walking around the property both mornings we were there. Nice indoor area to hang out in, as well as a kitchen and laundry. Well-kept, and best of all, super affordable. Awesome!
